For the One Who Feels Hopeless

If you’re reading this and you’re feeling hopeless…

Like nothing is working, and nothing ever will…

Like you’re too tired to try again, and too scared to stop…

This is for you.

I don’t have the perfect words. I don’t have a magic fix. But I do have this: you’re not alone.

Maybe you’ve been strong for too long. Maybe you’ve been kicked while you were down.

Maybe you’ve tried everything you know how to do—and the rug still got pulled out from under you.

I want you to know that God sees you even if no one else does.

“For I know the plans I have for you.” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” (Jeremiah 29:11 NIV)

This message from God was not just for the Old Testament Israelites. It’s for you, too!

You’re not invisible. You’re not forgotten.

And just because you feel hopeless right now doesn’t mean hope is gone.

It just means you’re wounded. And it’s okay to rest.

This is not the end of your story. It may just be the turning point.

So if all you can do today is breathe, then breathe.

If all you can do is whisper, “God, help me,” that’s enough.

You don’t need to figure it all out.

You just need to keep breathing and stay open to what God still wants to do with your life.

I believe there’s more for you.

Not because I’m strong, but because I’ve been where you are—and I know God doesn’t waste pain.

So this is for you—the one who feels hopeless:

You’re not done yet.

You’re still here.

And that matters to me, but more importantly, it matters to God.
